Greetings from First Zion Missionary Baptist Church
and Pastor Bennie L. Jenkins Jr.
I am grateful to God that he allowed me and my family to be with you First Zion as your new pastor. It is my prayer and with God’s help that we as a church family should make disciples for Christ and continue to save souls. Our prayer for you is that the God of all grace anoints you with fresh oil and His precious Spirit illuminates the word as you read. May he empower you to effectively communicate to others the vibrant hope that he has given you to preserve the struggles that you have overcome and continue to overcome.
Isaiah 51:16 “And I have put thy words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay my foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, thou art my people.”
Furthermore, First Zion and I pray that your home be a reflection of the joy and peace that God has promised to all of His children who follow Him. We bless your children, the fruit of your body. We speak life into your marriage, mind, body and soul, but most of all to your spirit.
As you lie down at night, we here at First Zion are praying for more than just sleep. We pray for rest. Rest in Jesus and arise refreshed for we need you. Your prayers, your support and your love are more important to us. We ask that you use all of your God given gifts and talents here at the church and in the community. So we pray you will take care of yourself.
“WE ARE THE VOICE AND THE HANDS THAT ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO CHANGE THEIR LIVES
THROUGH FAITH, LOVE, HOPE, COMFORT, JOY, AND PEACE.”
